International Game Dev Competition Returns to Budapest: Get Ready for Turkic Game Jam 2026!

Following last year’s successful debut, Turkic Game Jam is coming back bigger than ever! If you love a good challenge and want to level up your game pitching skills, Graphisoft Park is the place to be on the first weekend of June.

Organized by MeOut, this unique 24-hour game development marathon runs simultaneously across multiple nations, bringing together creators from Hungary, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Northern Cyprus. This year, the Hungarian hub will be hosted at Graphisoft Park, where local developers will gather on June 5-6.

24 Hours of Coding That Could Land You an Investment

The challenge comes with a twist: within 24 hours, you aren’t just building a playable prototype – your main goal is to create a well prepared pitch. The stakes here go way beyond your average community jam!

Here is how the multi-stage journey unfolds:

• Jam: Dive into the 24-hour local marathon, at the end of which you’ll showcase your working prototype and pitch to a professional jury.

• Prototyping: The top two teams from the national round will get the green light for the demo development phase, giving them until November to polish their prototypes.

• Grand Finale: The finalists will present their games at the international Grand Finale during the MeOut Summit, also held in Budapest this November. Pitching to an international jury and industry experts, they will compete not just for valuable prizes, but for real investment opportunities.
